The Tadiran Multi Star ACS outdoor unit is a single-phase inverter heat pump powered at 220-240 V/1 ~ 50 Hz with twin-rotary compressor and using R32 refrigerant. The
multisplit architecture allows up to three indoor units of wall, console, ducted or ceiling cassette type to be connected for room air conditioning, in addition to the dedicated connection to a
185-liter DHW storage tank for domestic hot water production. The rated operating capacity is 10.6 kW in cooling and 12.0 kW in heating, with
an operating range covering outdoor conditions from -15 °C to +43 °C in cooling and up to 22 °C in heating and DHW, offering versatility in different climatic conditions.
In terms of energy performance, the Tadiran system is in class A++ in cooling and A+ in heating, with SEER values = 7.2 and SCOP ≈ 4.2. This energy positioning is in line with the best multisplit solutions on the market and allows for low seasonal consumption while maintaining high performance in air conditioning and DHW production. The nominal power input is low (about 2.95 kW in cooling and 3.20 kW in heating), and the overall seasonal consumption is optimized by the intelligent management of electronics and inverter.
One of the distinguishing features of this solution is the ability to produce DHW from the cooling cycle, with high production efficiency (COP DHW ≈ 4.5 on the dedicated tank), ensuring simultaneity between DHW production and room air conditioning; but most importantly, it offers the possibility of recovering heat during cooling operation, giving it directly to the DHW tank. The built-in 185
liter storage tank is managed by a dedicated electronic control, which adjusts the DHW flow temperature(usually between 35 °C and 55 °C) according to the user’s requirements through different setting modes. The presence of a 1.5 kW electric auxiliary heater supports hot water production in cases of peak demand or particularly harsh outdoor conditions.
The system is compatible with the Tadiran Multi Star range of indoor units, which include wall-mounted, cassette and ducted versions. These indoor units integrate standard functions such as automatic temperature control, multi-speed ventilation, Sleep mode, 3D flap movement, Fast Cooling function, smart defrosting and cold air protection , ensuring high comfort levels that can be customized for each room served. Control can be via dedicated remote control or with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, thanks to the My Tadiran app, which allows remote management, hourly scheduling, consumption monitoring and operational status diagnosis.
Acoustically, the outdoor unit maintains sound pressure levels of 60 dB(A), while internally the levels are optimized according to the type of unit and ventilation speeds set, ensuring adequate acoustic comfort even in the most sensitive living spaces. The use of quality components, DC Inverter compressor and advanced control systems ensure operational reliability and durability of the machine.
